Powered Positioning Belt System

The Powered Positioning Belt System is custom-built for each individual user, ensuring an optimal fit for maximum comfort, support, and performance.

Designed with premium materials, the belt features a durable neoprene outer fabric that resists stains and everyday wear, while the breathable 3D mesh inner lining promotes airflow to help keep the user cool and comfortable throughout the day.

At the heart of the system is an innovative magnetic latch designed for exceptional ease of use. Requiring minimal hand strength or dexterity, the latch automatically engages when the belt ends are brought into close proximity, securely locking together with virtually no effort. Despite its effortless operation, the magnetic latch provides a holding force of up to 134 pounds, making it ideal for gentle positioning support that helps maintain comfort, stability, and proper seated posture.

The Powered Positioning Belt System operates directly from the wheelchair’s battery supply and draws no power when the belt is not being adjusted, maximizing energy efficiency. Adjustments are made using the included compact “PS” style joystick, allowing the user or caregiver to easily tighten or loosen the belt as needed.

Thanks to its exceptionally compact design—measuring only 40 mm × 60 mm—the joystick can be mounted in virtually any convenient location on the wheelchair, providing outstanding installation flexibility.

Powerful twin gear motors deliver smooth, reliable operation, while integrated limit switches ensure the belt consistently returns to the tension level prescribed by the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) or mobility specialist. This provides repeatable, consistent positioning with every adjustment, enhancing both user comfort and seating stability.
